Our mission is to provide wigs to the chemo patients of East Central Minnesota at no cost, right here, close to home.
We wanted to have a location in Mora where women that lost their hair during chemo would be able to get a wig at no cost without having to search and travel long distances. Many cancer patients in our area have their doctors and chemo treatments right here at FirstLight Health System in Mora.
Our goal was that with the comfort and caring of a local hair stylist they would be able to select a style, color and fit specifically for them with the option of taking the wig to their own stylist. For a lot of us, looking like your old self is very uplifting, encourages you to get out with your family and friends and helps you get through your treatments.
Through the help of many hands in our community we were able to pull this all together.

Wigs are provided free of charge for people going through chemo with a private room to try the wigs on. Wigs can be cut and styled to suit you. Call Linda at Linda’s Hair Design at 320-679-2085 to schedule an appointment. Linda’s is located at 125 Forest Ave. E., Mora, MN. Feel free to invite your own stylist, friend or family to come with you. Linda can also custom order wigs for purchase.
